AI startup founder records toddler daughter's conversations during sleepover, feeds it to AI to share the audio with family: 'What are we doing here?'

• A father felt like he had cracked the code of gaining extra access to the cuteness and chaos of the toddler stage when he recorded the conversations of a sleepover involving his young daughter and cousin. He fed the recording into AI so it could create a website with the highlights for their family members to enjoy listening to.

  He praised his bright idea as “pure joy from everyone,” amused at the wild detours that the toddler conversation took and how that entertained his family. Some other people also seemed to think that this was something worth doing. However, plenty of others saw this as a violation of privacy, and yet another representation of a tech obsession gone too far. While it may be true that every parent wants to collect as many good memories as possible when it comes to the fleeting life stages of their children, maybe this isn't the way to go.
